"Last Monday (8/6), my wife, Irene, and I spent the afternoon with Beatty
and Maurice Raymond. We see them when they come up to their summer home in Old
Saybrook, Connecticut, which is only about a half hour or so from our house.
This year we went for a leisurely cruise a little way up the Connecticut River,
moored the boat in a cove, swam and had good conversation. I thought that I
would share a few photos with you... perhaps to be posted on the LHS blog."
