George Kistner Passes Away

 

I have learned that George Kistner passed away yesterday afternoon, May 1, 2008. I understand that George had been suffering from pancreatic and liver cancer. George was a Lakeland police officer, and after he retired, he became a bailiff for the Polk County Court System. About two years ago, George retired from the Polk County Court System, and he and his wife, Sherri, moved to North Carolina.

    George will be missed. I have heard nothing but good things from policemen that worked with him.
